All this info about classes is fine but how are you marketing your product? The product being the boat classes you run. Being at the Toronto show exposes your product to a lot of people. Are you on the Muskoka SeaFlea site? Where are people going to run into your product at? Who are you boot strapping with? Off season is the time to generate interest and educate people. Most races are not well attended by spectators and I find there is not a lot of info available about the racing taking place at the races. So back to the original question, What is the marketing plan to generate interest in T Boat racing? The product doesn’t sell itself.

They would come to a race on their own lake. Plus its a good lake to have a race.

A race on six mile will never fly. Too many cottagers are against us, I organized a big run a few years ago, 15-20 boats and our lakes Facebook group blew up with complaints. Won't get cooperation from cottagers and boaters. As well as not really anywhere good to hold it. I'm a lifelong boater there, fast boats for the past 10 years. Love the lake, hate the people!

Still a bunch of T boats running around every Saturday evening. You guys need to start calling them out by name!

In Europe they are running the yamaha 90 hp with the 70CES......they don't run the OMC 56 or the Mercury 60 in their T class
In 3 cylinder drag you can run the 90 yamaha.
If the 90 yamaha ran in T at its drag class weight [880] it would be competitive and would add some more boats to T class

We could also allow the Drag OMC Mod 56 motors in T running at 800 lbs.

One nice highlight for T-750 is age lowered to 12!
Conditional approval of 12-15 year old racers.
Specific documentation is required to race within an OPBRA closed course event.

If you could get enough 12-15 year olds interested it would be nice to have a separate 40hp class or something I bit less serious than full blown 750 lol. I totally understand not wanting to reinvent the wheel but 750 isn't really a beginner class anymore.

We are adaptive, Doc.
If we get a boat count, we'll make a class and get them on the water.
There are lots of T-750 boats out there now and two new ones built this winter with young drivers.
Let's get them out there.
Our insurance is aware and working with us.

A DIFFERENT TYPE OF T- BOAT.........CROSS-OVERS

These are middle of the pack runners that race in both T750 and T850.
They get DOUBLE the race seat time using the same boat and motor on a race weekend.

Two examples:
[1[ 60 hp 49 OMC
In T750 runs small carb and large foot
In T850 run large carb and nitro foot

[2] 50 hp 52 Yamaha
In T750 runs small 50 hp carb
In T850 runs large 70 hp carb

They must race at a minimum of 725 lbs.

They would not be top 3 finishers in either class, but would increase the boat count in each T class.
Plus for the racers that just want to have fun racing, its a good option.
