Let's hope this weeks final race is better then last weeks. UIM needs to ease up on the yellow flag rule. All that money spent by teams and the UIM itself to have a short race made even shorter by their yellow flag pace laps.

I was pretty disappointed with the finish!when the championship is on the line it should be run green! I know they can't predict fuel requirements if there not going to count yellow laps but we all know how unpredictable boats can be, so they should have to run 90% of the race under green to make it official, although it didn't look like there was any competition for the lead!

Lots of competition for the rest of the spots. . The way they finished that race and the amount of Yellow Laps this year is actually sickening !!!!

I do get some inside information thru people I know in the series. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes. The money the big teams have and the equipment not only in spare parts, but in special machinery to make parts, plus the technical guys and specialists is similar to F1 car racing. There is a big difference between the haves and the have nots. Sammy's team gets wonderful results out of very little support. If Mercury stops building the basic race 2 stroke motor parts, the big teams can make their own motors. The little guys will not be competitive. Over here we should and do root for the drivers we know, like Price and Rinker. Don't underestimate how good some of those other drivers are. THEIR GOOD!

I know a a few people involved also. The two stroke is going away sooner then we all want. After last race, teams are very upset.

It woudn't be racing if $$$ didn't affect outcome!I think we see it in every form!Hendrick,Roush,Penske,Red Bull! What the lesser dollar teams need is big $$ sponsorship or there will be no series! Boat racing has never been a huge spectator sport [offshore more so], It's more done for bragging rights and the big money guys and the guys who have it in there blood will do it with or without a sponsor's name on the boat! We all know how un-exciting it is watching boats race that are not competitive with each other!
if there's no motor competion between manufacturers it seems to lose some of the sparkle!my.02!

There you go. He is on the pole! What is also good, is he runs Canadian power. Both he and Price run Alex motors. The more interesting fact is the durability Sami's team can get out of them. They rebuild them over and over and still get good power and they last. That is credit to his team. They obviously know what their doing.

I am pulling for Price (Ted and Alex), they are the closest we have to a home team.
