That thing has more wires then my car!

The good news is: It is a former FE raceboat, it must be light, it is still together, the motor has power trim and it likely can be purchased for much less than the asking price.

Trying to catch-up

Ron Hill was clearing out a lot of steering parts. Surface mount steering wheels etc. I took the works. I should have the stuff here this month. If your in need of steering parts maybe there something here that will work for you. Once I get the stuff I will post a picture or two.

I am also working and getting at least 2 GOOD 4 spline OMC cranks. I hope to have those in January along with their blocks.

There have been some new OMC 3 cylinder Wisco pistons on ebay for sale in the 70 dollar range. They are not the new coated ones. But, an option if your looking to use Wisco's

15 inch OMC gearcases have almost disappeared, I know there are several looking for them. You MUST jump at them when they come up for sale. There are very few around. Tammy Wolf has an SST60 gearcase for $1400.00. She likely can get it to Canada if your interested.

I am sorry I can't supply a lot of information on the 4 stroke motors. I don't know enough about them to offer an opinion.

Top Gun I will find my OMC cc flywheel over the Christmas holidays. It is yours if you still want it.

The fellow that builds the 2 across boat trailers will be at the TIBS on the last Sunday to talk about them.

Little Charger did check out the steering arms on the 2 cylinder T750 OMC motors to see if they would work on the 3 cylinder T850 model. They are too different to work.

Looks like we have a least one of the new enclosed Florida built 13 ft. Allisons running in T850 next year. The deck is different from the pictures on these site. The builder redesigned it a second time. The price for this model is approximately $2800.00 including the seat.

I hope to buy some more flak material for the life jackets. With the material and the patterns for each size we should be able to up date any jacket.

A non T racer is looking into making us a portable weigh scale frame to weigh T boats at the race sites. This would be like a childrens swing set only higher. It would totally come apart in a few minutes. We already have a scale, sling and lift. We do not need to weigh all the boats at the races. Once we know the weigh of your boat, the inspector can decide if it should be weighed. In most cases to date the boats have been well over the minimum weight and those boats would not need to be weighed, new boats would automatically be weighed. We need to know the weight before the boat races the first time. The best place to have it weighed and recorded is at the spring T Party.

To help with the inspections. We will have a helper for the day. This person will be selected at every race. The person will do the check list, sign and attach the inspection stickers to the boats and motors. This gives us a set of new eyes at every race looking at the boats and they may catch something.

Flak: I have (3) 2'x4' 0.0625" polycarbonate sheets: http://www.makrolon.de/bms/db-rsc/makro ... id/home_en

Sourced from a material specialist, meets APBA spec. $25/2x4 sheet.

Foam: I should have APBA spec closed cell foam shortly as well.

75 hp parts motor...has possibilities...YES it is a long shaft.

http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicle ... Z423849051

This will work if you have a 24 inch transom VOODOO.
You could rebuilt it.
You could switch to a 56r.
You would need a nitro gearcase.
You can use the later long shaft power trim.
You can install SST60 lower solid mounts in this mid.
