If this is a go... I'm thinking lunch at http://www.cobblebeach.com/ They have a pretty sweet patio and a new BIG dock... If the water is calm. I will run from owen sound to wiarton.... Then around white cloud and griffith island and back to owen sound. It's about 72miles... If not . Just play in Owen Sound bay.

That's a classic S&F thread. 4" chop is no problem. It is the gale force winds that they bay whips up. I do not plan to be spinning any Gordon Lightfoot songs about leaky ships at this meet.

Yeah, I don't have any problems with 4" of chop, it's the 4 plus foot rollers spaced 20 plus feet apart that make me nervous. The lake I'm on is about 8 miles wide (east west) and 30 miles long (north south). I'm on the north shore, and that lake blows up outta nowhere. Even on a crystal clear day the rollers will bite you in the ass, don't really notice them sometimes until you're 50 plus mph....
