And another classic "chase" pic surfaces.
Another different race number.

Just Curious.....why the twin outboards instead of i/o as it orginally had?
Is the hull intended for smashing through typical Georgian Bay 4' rollers or more inland calmer waters?

Doug...there's lots of reason the primary being that we are FAR more familiar with outboards than we are with sterndrives (as you can tell by the boats that have come from our place lol). I know 3BP is struggling with going outboard now for the sake of originality but the cost of motors that will match the performance and reliability of his 250's puts them out of reach...as does proper drives/rigging for them. We both agree that a nice set of 496's with Bravo's would be sweet but even used they cost 5 times what the outboards were and would be MUCH harder to rig and set up.

plus i think pound for pound it will be faster with outboards... a Modern twist to a classic...

I think any twin, tripple, etc. outboard application has an immense cool factor.

Would they also (outboards) not be a bit better on gas?

Well... iv been back at the velocity after a long break and with a couple weeks off work, Im hoping to really hit it hard and get the structural nightmare part of this over.

I have roughly another 18h of straight grinding in the recent little bit and feel I will be done grinding tomorrow morning.

And for those of you who have done core. You can Imagine how excited I am!

a couple pics of the rear motor area cleaned out from stringers to bottom skin
