thanks for the comments, I really love the handling and ride of this boat. Looking forward to more some seat time and get it dialed in.

Looks good Doug.
No doubt this thing is going to HAUL with some bigger props!

Ken, I can't get any more rpm. As soon as i hit the limiter the engine shuts down like you turned off the key - maybe it was 6100 or 6200 just going by the tach. Definately need a 34 pitch....better keep your garage locked -lol[/quote]

You should not be hitting the limiter until you hit 6400+. My 32 ET does a similar thing when she hits the limiter @ 6400+, just going by my tach. Would like to send it to get banged out to a 34. Send out your 32 cleaver to get tweaked for your boat.

Ok I am going to ask a silly question as I know zero about these motors but when does the engine kick back in after hitting the limiter?

As soon as it hit the limited the buzzer sounds and the motor comes to an idle as if you just let off the throttle. There is no throttle response. The boat comes to rest and then away you go again. From what I learned today I must of hit 6350 rpm for it to shut down. The prop is borrowed....so I have to find my own prop to run.

This is what I thought you were going to say. Now that is freaky deaky! I always thought you needed to trim down prior to cutting throttle. How does the boat handle coming to rest?

Bang for your buck, get a 36" Bravo 1... Spend a little more the BB Blades Blaster is supposed to be a great prop. Then of coarse there is Mother Mercury'$ Lab cleaver$ ;) ...
If that don't cut it send it to Dewald :D or Todd from Hydromotive or $omeone like that to do their magic. That could be well over 2G's when your all $aid and done  Or you can always take your chances and get use stuff and still get it worked.
The garage door code is easy you will figure it out. LoL

I would love to try your 34 cleaver....just to see how it performs ;)
