A bubble is fastest, and oddly enough most stable

That's interesting.. Makes sense. I read an article while doing my pad about the surf boards using a design like that and having great success. Are there any hulls that use this?

where are you on Simcoe? I'm just to the left of the harbour in Beaverton. If you find your self constantly thinking about widening the pad of your boat, and never think you have enough setback, and have hydrotech cataloges in every bathroom in your house, you may have James Cole disease there is also a tunnel hull version of this disease :o

We have a cottage on snake island and I hangout in willow beach most weekends at the family cottage, even though my house is all of 5 minutes away from both hahah. I dont think the 13 checky would make it down that far lol, farthest ive gone was basically to georgina island. We have been thinking about it a lot, but a better setup first would definitely be a better starting point before touching the hull.

Can't say that I've ever seen it, there's a blue and silver metal flake Checkmate 17 that looks to be original with a 115 Johnson I believe, that's around willow beach near kenedy road and lake drive. If your ever down towards snake island keep and eye out for me.
