Could you temporarily hook the throttle cable up to your control box to get you on the water this weekend? I seem to recall an old thread on S&F about how to do this too but I could remember wrong.

i switched control boxes for one from a 50,, and apparently it pulls the cable,, the old one pushed the cable, Image

To clarify what I meant was that I think there is an old S&F thread about converting the hot foot from merc to yammi but I could be wrong...

Why not use your control box out of your sidewinder?

that is my last resort as it is old and looks hurting,, and the new control box is in.. all i need is a hot foot, so im so close now i dont wanna turn back,, ill go have a look on s&f doK gave me an idea ill see if i can african american engineer it in the morning, if not i guess ill have to order a spankin new one ,.. man i hate that :lol:

I had an old Honda trail 70 that I tied a string to the throttle on the carb and pulled it to go. You could always try that! Lol (don't try that....)
