yes rick the 280 is running fine . I have being running the 100"S a couple of times . still not happy there need more seat time. yesterday as nielson and were approaching 90 the nose lifted and we almost blew over. just trying to there to fast . I was able to save it and landed fairly straight. so i'm just going to step back a couple steps and take it easy for the rest of the season

when neilson was running his stv a c-gull almost hit us at over a 100mph when neilson ducked the nose came down and the boat started to hook to the left . but he was able to save it and we carried on to hit 114 mph. or 113. 9 close enough
so to make a long story short I scared the crap out of myself twice.

sorry to rob your re sleeve thread .

What style of props are you running...I'm stuck on cleavers but I'd like to try an ET (or that style) for when I have a load in the boat. It can still get a little "nosey" with the cleaver but nothing dangerous..

I was running a 14.5 by 30 cleaver yesterday and liked it very much but I also like my 30 et. bottom line is I over trimmed to get there faster and got caught . never again not worth it I want to live to boat another day. v8
