I have made them even lighter!!
Gotta love the water jet machine.

Rowboat Brent… when you find the time I know that you can build a Mechanical trim bracket and indicator… Need one

This shifter/throttle project has been very challenging, to say the least.
Trying to fit 10 gallons of aluminum into a 5 gallon hole!!!
These are the types of projects that really get me going!!
Hopefully all the rough work will be completed this weekend, including the quad cable mounts.
Then I just have to pray it fits!! ;)
The action of all four levers is nice and smooth.
Hopefully I can do a trial fit before the boat leaves the paint shop.

Awesome!!

Brent, do you have a design that hides the cable? I want to have a mounted shifter on the side panel of my Vision, with nothing else exposed, mechanism hidden behind the panel. I don't mind having to deal with exposed screw heads.....

This is something I am working on, at the moment.
I have had requests for this.
My initial designs were for race boats. The weight saving was the primary concern.
Now the shift (pardon the pun) to race/pleasure boats is happening and guys with full interiors are wanting my design.
I agree, in those boats, that the hidden cables are better. Like the Livorsi unit.
Once i get some time on my hands and some existing projects finished, this is next!!

Stay tuned!!

Cool Brent! If you need someone to test a prototype, I could probably be talked into it :)
