how hard is the combination weights to enforce?

that would help P@.

This weight hurts Pat and Ted the most. Pat would have to add weight as he is most likely the lightest of all Lake Racer boats.

Haven't heard from RBT in regards to the couple of boats he mentioned were new to the class for 2015 either.

1261lbs no driver, fuel or prop... She's a fatty
My motor is a bone stock 93/94 small bearing 245 efi (260) with 34cc heads

If the weight rule is 1550 with driver I am sitting at 1575 now with out touching my set up and Only adding my back seat back into the boat. That is going to be about a 50lb increase.

So I don't get as big a penalty

So Pat , what's your weight ? 200 ? Plus prop , helmet and jacket should equal about 230 on top of his boat weight of 1261 = 1490 ish. So that means adding 60lbs.

Ted has to add 150 or so .

Jason adds 50 +/-

If everyone is honest about their weight then they will know what they will have to plan to add to their boats. When Gravenhurst comes it would be nice to have the ability to weigh the boats again with no fuel in the tank for the weights to be confirmed. That goes along with the finishing order from last year
1- Ted adds 150 2- Pat adds 60 or so 3- Jason adds 50 or so
In saying that Dean has confirmed he can reduce more weight , AnthonySS is most likely overweight as well , Kenny can add a simple 24v trim system which will get him a boat length or so

How does everyone feel about that ?

Now if others besides Ted ran tighter heads 2015 should be tighter. That's not to say Ted , Jason or Pat won't still be the top boats. Those three boats have done the most testing and playing around with their set-ups to get where they are and shouldn't be punished for that. The only real thing to do after a general minimum weight is weight vs power type and motor regulations based on finishing order / performance

Let's hope once again that someone can arrange a small crane truck for Gravenhurst and let's hope that no one has the lack of class to be dishonest for our TORC races
