The Canadian Dollar being low compared to the US dollar is going to hurt Canadians buying any boat in the states. The oppose will be true for an American buying a Canadian Boat. Also, since most of materials for boat building come from the states, the prices on new Canadian built boats will increase as will the cost of the materials to repair your current boat.

The TOP GUN Critchfield at $3500.00 plus tax is an excellent buy. In American dollars that is $3000. to $3100. with tax included.

I found some more info on the Yamaha 2 cylinder 60 DE model.
http://www.boatmad.com/forum/f9/yamaha- ... 24527.html

There is also a 70CES 1990 model on the same site. The 1990 model didn't not have the special head or the different tuner.

Will Hunter's friend who as several mod race motors [30H] and is a TORC member has a former Hydrostream EP race boat [Vandal?? I think a Vixen] and motor that was raced in the mid 1980s. It still has it's original 49 OMC SS and race prop. Been sitting in a garage for years. I believe it is on one of the Dunnville race 86-87 videos. Steve would remember it. Could be a nice project for a T racer on a budget.

Bet it is this one..1986......a VIXEN!

A T guy has been in touch with the seller. We are sure it is a Vixen hull. They are close on price and there will be pictures in the spring The Vixens were production boats from 73 to 76. Hydrostream did make VIXEN RACE BOATS to the mid 80's. The extra length and overal size could make it a very good T850 after lap 2 when the water gets rough.
