Does anyone know the standard wire gauge size for battery leads from the motor to the battery for a 2.6L Yamaha? I am installing a battery kill switch and need to route a feed from the battery to the switch.

I use 4ga for most of my primary wire from the battery to the motor.

#4 AWG and try using an RW90, it's tough and flexible, oil and gasoline resistant and good for up to 90°c.
