Well Ken you once again have stated something in a completely uneducated way.

1- No one mentioned besides the group that were at the Haliburton race where that ModVP would run class wise.
(Please tell me the difference in performance between a 1550lb STV ModVP/260 vs a 1550lb STV RR/260 ?? )
2- Greg was/is welcome to run an Allison River Racer in Lake Racer with the appropriate motor guidelines.

Once again if you worked on your boat as hard as you work your mouth you be the king of the water. . .

;)

1- that was a rule you created jeff, the group in haliburton was only following your guidelines..
2- i had considered buying Gregs allison for lakeracer jackie and i were under the impression that it was not allowed in lakeracer because its a mod-vp bottom..
3- this is a perfect opportunity to go over and clarify these rules..

so can we run these hulls in lakeracer for 2016? allison xr2001 mod-vp, stv modvp, ?

not that it affects me,, i already have something else picked out for you ****ers  2L2Q

An STVModVP was always allowed in Lake Racer as the boat could be ordered with two seats. This was discussed a couple years ago so I can understand the confusion.
Technically an Allison XR2001River Racer is allowed as well because they came with two seats. An XR2001ModVP was never offered with two seats same as an XR2001Drag.

As things evolve the rules will get tighter if competition permits.

A Drag/S3000 can be run with any mods as long as the compression is kept at or below 150psi in Lake Racer.

so gregs boat is allowed?

i dont see why any of these boats aren't allowed now that we have established a weight rule. 2016 should be good :D

Greg Keeling's boat is NOT Lake Racer legal. It is a ModVP which was/is a pure race built boat.

On you last note I can understand your thoughts but we have to have some rules and they will in fact get tighter and or more detailed.

You are catching on now. Hahaha.

I actually wanted and will hopefully change Lake Racer rules back to boats that came with a minimum of 3 seats
