Dok sent me a pic of his new carbs he's put on for this race season, said he paid a lot of money to get them shipped from Japan, apparently they were only available for one year on commercial motors.

What year were the tongs? Home Hardware or Canadian Tire? I heard somewhere in 2013 the Canadian Tire ones had accuracy problems? You Yamaha guys and your metric system... Always messes me up?

Did you use the 6 hole system or the 4 hole system? I've seen plenty of guys have the 4 hole system rip right off at 37mph! I usually like to take the lid off a dumpster and use it for a windshield. I tested it all the way to 42mph and the hood didn't come off!

I'm more worried about the hood coming loose in the pits.....prying eyes and all that lol.

Any thoughts on upgrading your jack plate with the expected increase in hp?

Your 300hp rated aluminum jack plate is junk now. You will bend it like an English pretzel . You should upgrade.

No worries Geigertec is on it, Bryan fired up the plasma cutter last night and with The Gun welding he thinks he should save Ricky a little weight off the ass end at the end of the day.
Win-win I'd say!

Gig said he's gonna build RBT's new mid out of the same material!

you seriously have no idea how many jack plates have broken and sheared off ?
and you all think your jack plates are "made in the usa "

now that is dangerous.
