Some of you probably saw some of these clips going around the last couple years. Letterkenny is now a new show on Crave TV. It's kind of based on Listowel which is about 10 min from me. The main character who is also the writer grew up in Listowel. There is a bar in the show called Modean's Roadhouse. That was a real bar years ago in Listowel. I spent a lot of Thurdsay, Friday and Saturday nights and a lot of money at that place during my early and mid 20's. It was the place to go in the area. I'm pretty sure the girl behind the bar in the show is based on a lady that everyone there knew as Tiger. I started watching the series and then realized a guy I was in school with from Port Perry is in there too. He plays McMurray. Such a small world. Anyway, check out a couple clips. They're pretty funny. If you've seen the clips, check out the TV show on Crave TV. This is about as "small town Canada" as it gets. I hope these guys are the next "Trailer Park Boys"

Yeah Mitchie pointed a few clips out to me a little while ago and I got a chuckle out of them. I don't know the bar Kev but I certainly know Listowel as I have been there a number of times over the years. Definitely a good old southwestern Ontario town :)

Finished the first season in one sitting. They got my support!! Tried to show it to some American friends, they don't understand our sense of humour or the language for that matter haha

For those who haven't seen it on Crave TV, I found a youtube clip with some highlights from the first season.
