you wont need a lwp for three inches under the bottom of the boat, make sure you have a water pressure guage, a chopper prop will not work well at 5" below the hull, see if you can borrow some thing like a 26 pitch laser 2 merc prop. again , the bigger prop, the worse it will handle as it is now.

This is a round bottom boat isn't it? I think the key focus right now should be getting the motor running right and getting a proper mid on the thing...only then would I start messing with props and setup. Everything is going to change once the motor starts making power up top and you get the PH/propshaft closer together...

yes Rick straked v bottom, still needs motor higher and your 20" mid to do it. i think the cutting out is the plastic 5 gal portable tank, mine would,nt run well on one either.

if you still have the quick disconnect in the fuel line at the motor, I would get rid of it as well, just attach the fuel line right on the inlet to the fuel filter. same at the fuel tank

I'v done that it is very restrictive..im going to check the line in the tank then get rid of the syphon valve open it right up and see how she runs ,,,,my buddy is bringing up his charger tv 225excel tomorrow,, if it doesn,t rain..just to gibson lake its not too far good test run lake...

.......yes she is round and the strakes dont extend all the way to the transom so there is room for improvement in the hull too,..,,,, my biggest concern is the mid i just happen to have this prop handy to try and buddy is comming up so im going to see if it runs any better after opening up the fuel system...

Dok whats my compression supoosed to be? i have,,, left bank top too bottom 150,150,130 right bank top too bottom,145,145,130 is sea foam a good idea?

could this set off the nock sensor if the compresson is too high from carbon build up....?

The Right bank sounds exactly right...the left sounds a bit high...but it could just be your gauge or carbon. I like seafoam in my OX66 to keep the O2 sensor clean...so...it won't hurt...
