Jezz I wonder who that was cause it sure wasn't Dok...sorry Dok  We are all in trouble when Dok gets the kinks worked out. No CES head for Dok at Dunnville, just like Erik (about the same mph boat as well) just some good old fashion driving by Dok.

The 70 mph hour record was not broken...but Zonka never got through all the props. The delta's liked the beaver lake water I ran 68.9 and Zonka 68.8, Zonka ran his number with a 22, so if we had left him out there for another couple of hours with the rest of the props he might have got closer. Hell Zonka ran 68"s with a prop that he folded up at the launch, Ross Webster straightened it on the ball of his van with a hammer (Todd's probably having a heart attack now!)

All this is great conversation but yeah gotta drive it around 5 laps of rough water to take the crown! lol What you do on the lake is simply that what you did on the lake.

Says it all. We keep proving time and time again that it doesn't make any difference what your running. Get a good start and a good drive and you finish well.
Most racers have had the opportunity to run out front or a least top 2 to know what a difference it makes to have better water and being able to choose your line thru the corner rather than have no line and wild water to fight thru..

Given black flag signifies 'back to the pits', perhaps a bit revealing of short leash matrimonial disharmony.
Well,....try flying the rainbow flag in return. Gtee'd she'll let you go as far as you want.
In fact, given flying that flag would earn you a Soundin' Poundin', I'd stay S of Hwy 7.

I got a e-mail to remind me that Ryley's record was on the race oval... tri oval in this case. BIG DIFFERENCE! He actually ran the 69.2 mph on the front straightaway at WATERFORD. That being said. Ryley still holds the record.

TG, Thx for putting on a good 3 lap crowd pleaser show, rather than bolting up front.
