Ok As an outsider my head is spinning with all of this..... I am getting more confused.

Welcome to the group. We will find you a mid and gear case. It is only in the off season that these talks take place. It calms down by the spring. Not to worry. I got e-mail this morning from a SO fellow in Gravenhurst looking into T as well.

I am looking to run T-850 too, but I can tell you this, cc'ing a head, or measuring port height isn't going to help a crafty engine builder will get around that. You can only tech a motor with a degree wheel and a compression gauge, the problem is there are relief holes and now you have only a static number and not a dynamic number.
Bottom line is, Top Gun is right. Show up and race.
If we get into tech, it will get more expensive, and I bet the boat count will drop.

my nickle.

Wow! RBT and Himagain coming out of the closet same day. Who's coming out tomorrow?
This is great. The more the merrier, more boats >12/race, more heats, eliminations, finals per day.
Good stuff.

Another good guy in the mix! Welcome Rob. With these last two racers Erik is right. T Class will be larger and more competitive than it has ever been in its history dating back to FE in the mid sixties. Can you see T DRAG coming? A right hand turn as part of the oval? A true T champion based on total points as a combination of oval and drag?
THIS IS THE FUTURE I SEE! It will happen! The Dog is pumped!

Wow just found this thread, good discussion!
After running the 56ci powerhead for the second half of the season I will never go back to the 49ci! But with no money prizes or big platinum trophies I don't really care for tech inspections. I was running Ryleys $100 powerhead with a geigertech head and damaged prop and was still competitive. I want to do some mods because thats part of what makes racing awesome and makes driving a race boat even more fun, but at the same time dont want to be illegal for next year if rules start getting enforced... Just want to be competitive with a chance at high points ! :D

Super excited for next season and all the new racers! This class has taken off! Huge thanks to Don for getting this class going!
