It's a about a 10 degree bottom. So not really flat, but more flat than V bottom. There is a center pad. The 21 is just a bigger version of the 19, more or less scaled up in 3 dimensions. Better suited to today's big engines, and too big for my garage. But we already have a 2 year old 19

I like the swim platform. We have the old style swim platform and we got it just so the cover had something to secure to.

Best ski boat I've ever had. I think the wake must be flatter than the inboard ski boats. Less wake for me to trip over is a good thing.

The J-crafts are great, my dad has one and it is awesome. I would describe it as one of the most "versatile" ski boats there is. Could probably fit 10 people in there if you had too, skis very very well, barefoots pretty well, and will still run upper 60's without too much trouble. That being said last year I picked up an older Mastercraft Prostar. At a full length rope the jcraft wake is much better. At 15' off they are comparable. The advantage a true inboard ski boat, and I mean ski boat not a wakeboard boat or crossover boat, is as the line gets shorter and shorter, the water behind the boat gets cleaner and cleaner.
