For the guys looking for steering bars... Yamaha 70....

Gig will the 70 yamaha ones mount on the engine bolts same as the OMCs? I welded plates onto the sides of a Yamaha powerhead base plate to attach the steering bars because the front steering arm mount style [650XS] hit the rear boat cowl. If yours mount on the bolts please make me a set.

55 HP Nissan with power trim $250.00

Needs gears..should not be difficult to find. Motor looks clean. Its the 2 cylinder model. On a VooDoo or Delta their a 55+ mph motor. More torque than the OMC and maybe 1 to 1.5 mph less top end than the OMC. All your Mercury and yamaha props fit. My guess would be to run an 11 x 18 or 20.

I don't know why so many T guys think this flywheel will make any difference. If? we were doing a LeMans start and its a World Championship maybe. It is only a bit lighter. Your not allowed to run the CC Mod 50 flywheel which is half the weight.
Anyway here is another picture of one on a powerhead.

Has anyone weighed one of the last verson flywheels?
Like the one on this powerhead.

Ron Hill has a wide range of T props for every motor. He has both over hub and thru hub styles. It is best to contact him through his site not EBAY. Most times he will sell the prop to a racer in the $250.00 range. This is a good option for those on a budget. You can have a local guy do the reworking. Jeff Titus in Florida is excellent and several T Guys run his props. Jeff's cost is more that double the cost of a Hill prop, but still very good value. A lab Mercury prop will cost you even more money. The advantage of the Mercury prop is resale value. They always seem to be worth $500. to $600. used. If? you can find a good condition used Mercury prop, you will be able to resale it for the price you paid.

Here is an example of one of Ron Hills props on EBAY. Check his store for the others.
