I have worked with Epifanes, best marine paint, from Noah's, sticks to glass/metal.
Two types, one part, and 2 part epoxy w hardener. I used 1 part, if boat ever in crash, it's easy to sand/repair. The 2 part is VERY durable, challenging to sand for a repair,...sounds ideal for your application. But not cheap, $80 a quart, you'll need several. Think of the bijillion sailboats/yachts that spend season in water, Epifanes is great stuff.
I applied Epifanes primer, one part, on my CSH hydro, rolled it with thin knap roller. Many have asked if it was sprayed, it flows out very well with 5-8% thinner, and warmed up, no lint.
You shld visit Noah's(54 Six Points Rd, Etob) at lunch, 5min fr the Depot.
